I have had 1-to-1 tutoring with Jason to prepare for Cambridge and Imperial engineering interviews, and I received offers from both. He was very attentive and tailored the lessons to what I needed help with most. Jason helped me become much more confident with explaining my thinking out loud and approaching unfamiliar problems. He prepared me to a level higher than the actual interviews and that made them much less intimidating and stressful. I highly recommend Jason to anyone aiming for the top universities.

My tutor Jason helped me understand the entire Cambridge and Imperial College application process and greatly improved my confidence in mock interviews. He gave me lots of advice on interview technique, and the experience was extremely useful, although the content was sometimes very challenging. I was also surprised to be given extra help from other PhD tutors, which further developed my confidence when facing unknown interviewers with different styles. Jason even managed to predict a topic in my Imperial College interview. I looked elsewhere and could not find a service like this, especially at such a reasonable price.

I have had a fantastic journey. We covered a wide range of potential engineering topics like electrics, mechanical engineering and civil engineering. The questions are carefully picked, both rich in logic and worthy to delve into. During mock interviews, I was exposed to advanced knowledge. I had a mock interview with PhD students who had a deep knowledge of the college I was applying to and I learned a lot from them. I am really grateful to have met Jason and certainly want to recommend it to anyone looking for a productive and cost-effective service.

Jason was very invested in ensuring I got the best help available. This included analysing my personal statement to find its most interesting parts, figuring out what a good entrance exam score was and how to persevere in the presence of new, unknown content. Very invested and enthusiastic support throughout.

I was very happy with their service in that I was able to have a free trial session to help me decide whether I wanted to pay for further support. The trial was not easy and certainly helped me to practice answering questions about an unfamiliar topic on the spot. One question was somewhat relevant to what I was asked in my interviews. I had two interviews at Worcester and one at St Hugh's. Successful.

Really helpful throughout the whole process. The sessions were well structured and I felt much better prepared going into my interviews than I would have been on my own.

The UCAT preparation was exactly what I needed. My tutor identified the sections where I was losing marks and we worked through targeted practice until my score improved significantly. She also helped me think about my personal statement in a completely different way, focusing on genuine experiences rather than trying to sound impressive.

I was averaging a B in Further Maths before starting tutoring. My tutor helped me understand the mechanics topics that my school had rushed through, and we spent a lot of time on past paper technique under timed conditions. The improvement was noticeable within a few weeks.

A* in Further Mathematics

As an international student, I had no idea how the UK admissions system worked. My tutor explained everything clearly and helped me navigate UCAS, college choice, and the interview process. The mock interviews were particularly valuable because they helped me get used to thinking out loud in English under pressure.

The personal statement support was the most useful part for me. My first draft was decent but generic. My tutor pushed me to be more specific about what I had actually read and what questions it raised. The final version felt much more like me and much less like a template.

The ESAT preparation sessions were really challenging but that was the point. By the time I sat the real exam, the questions felt more familiar and I had a clear strategy for time management. My tutor also helped with my Imperial interview which I found much less stressful than expected.

My LNAT score went from a practice average of around 22 to a final score of 28. The tutoring helped me develop a genuine approach to argument analysis rather than just guessing. My tutor also ran several mock interviews that were harder than the real thing, which was exactly what I needed.
