Oxford Admissions Test Changes for 2027 Entry: TMUA, ESAT and TARA
Oxford has retired MAT, PAT, TSA, MLAT, CAT, BMSAT, AHCAAT and PhilAT for 2027 entry (ELAT and HAT are also no longer being administered). Maths and Computer Science family courses now use TMUA, Physics-family and Biomedical Sciences courses use ESAT, and the social-sciences cluster (PPE, Economics and Management, History and Economics, History and Politics, Human Sciences, Experimental Psychology, PPL) uses the new TARA. Modern Languages, Classics, English, History, Philosophy and several other humanities courses no longer require any admissions test.
